Yaris has four wheels, and it knows what to do with them.
See how the wheels are way out on the corners? That helps it handle like a bat out of the nether region. Yep. Down there.

Standard, baby. Standard. Just check the glove box. It's there.
Touch it. You know you want to. And the
door panels. S-o-o-o s-o-o-o-f-t! Yaris has
a redesigned IP too. (Pssst – that means
"Instrument Panel.") It is, after all, a car.
60/40 Split Fold-Down Rear Seat
Ready? Split, fold, pack, repeat.
Volume! Space! Elbow room! A steering wheel! And, remember: You might find
gloves in the glove compartment and cups in the cup holders, but you won’t find
doors in the door pockets. Or feet in the footwell pocket. Or spiritual balance in
the center console. Okay, maybe that.
Yaris comes standard with nine airbags, including driver and front passenger Advanced Airbag System, driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags, a driver knee airbag, driver and front passenger seat cushion airbags, and front and rear side curtain airbags.
Every 2012 Yaris comes standard with the Star Safety System™, a suite of six advanced safety features designed to help keep drivers out of harm’s way. The system includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)[4], Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA)[5] and Smart Stop Technology (SST)[6].
In certain rear-end collisions, the front seats are designed to yield in a controlled fashion, minimizing the motion differential between the occupant’s head and torso, and helping reduce the risk of neck injuries.
Proper tire pressure is key to performance and safety. TPMS evaluates the pressure of the tires and issues a warning if it becomes critically low.
LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) provide an added measure of safety for the smaller members of your family. LATCH includes lower anchors on outbound rear seats and tether anchors on all outboard seats.
Every Yaris comes standard with lots of safety features. Active features, to help keep you out of harm’s way, and passive features, to help protect you should trouble rear its ugly head.
