Entune Quick-Start Guide
As technology and markets change, third-party application providers continuously evolve their products and services. On November 13, Pandora , OpenTable® , and Facebook Places will no longer be available in Entune® App Suite as these products and services will no longer be supported by the third-party application providers.

An Application License Agreement was presented to the customer at registration (Entune® App Suite) or application first use (Entune 3.0 App Suite) stating that application changes may occur over time. The Application License Agreement can be viewed at any time from within the application. For this update, registered/active customers will be sent an email communication.

On November 13, Pandora® , Facebook Places, and OpenTable will be removed from the smartphone app and multimedia display unit.

Note: On models equipped with a Harman display unit (please see the question “Which Entune® App Suite display units are impacted?” below to determine display unit), Pandora® and OpenTable® icons will remain. Services for these products will be discontinued and an error message will be seen on the display unit when the customer attempts to use these applications.

Update steps for Entune® App Suite:

1. When launching Entune® App Suite on smartphone, the customer will be prompted to complete an application update (see image reference)
2. A prompt will be featured on the display unit when the smartphone is then connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth or USB (see image reference).
3. When the customer selects “Now,” the download will begin. Once complete, the customer will be prompted to complete the install (see image reference).
Note: If the customer selects “Later,” they will be directed back to the menu screen. Each time the customer selects the “App” button, they will be prompted to complete the update. Entune® App Suite will not be available until the update is completed.

Update steps for Entune 3.0 App Suite:

1. Entune 3.0 App Suite smartphone app will not require an update, but the smartphone must be connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth for the display unit update to occur.
At the next Ignition OFF/ON cycle, the update prompt will be shown again. Entune 3.0 App Suite will not be available until the update is completed.

How long will it take for the display unit software to update?

The length of time to update will vary. With good wireless coverage, the update should take from three (3) to five (5) minutes.

Toyota Entune® App Suite functions anywhere within the continental United States, but not in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico, or Canada. Vehicles built for the U.S., but transported to or sold in these regions, do not support Toyota Entune® App Suite.
Toyota Entune 3.0 App Suite is also supported for Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Pandora® will be removed from these regions when this change is introduced. Canadian vehicles do not have Pandora® today and will not be impacted by this change.
