GR-FOUR All-Wheel Drive

Developed to handle a variety of driving conditions, the GR-FOUR AWD system features three selectable power settings: Choose to split front and rear torque distribution to 60:40 for everyday driving, 50:50 for track and maximum stability, or 30:70 for more torque to the rear wheels.
Enhanced Handling

With rear geometry that digs in deep and rebound springs dialed to help keep your wheels down in the corners, GR Corolla’s calibrated suspension boosts traction and stability, so you can fully enjoy its hair-raising power. Boost your traction even more with front and rear Torsen® limited-slip differentials, for dynamic handling.
GR Circuit-Tuned Suspension

Up front, the MacPherson strut suspension, with its circuit-tuned coil springs, shock absorbers and stabilizer bars, enhances power delivery and cornering capabilities. In the rear, the double-wishbone multi-link system maximizes AWD grip and performance.
High-Performance Brakes

Save the heat for burning up the track. GR Corolla's ventilated and slotted brake rotors, with red-painted four-piston front fixed calipers and two-piston rear calipers, help dissipate heat for better brake performance, while a mechanical hand-lever brake helps you lock up the rear.
Rigid Body

Feel the precision in every turn. GR Corolla's available carbon-fiber roof lowers the vehicle’s weight and its center of gravity, for improved aerodynamics and handling. And thanks to multiple weld points, body bracing and extensive use of structural adhesive, GR Corolla's underlying structure helps reduce flex so you can be confident in sharp turns and long curves.
Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control

Maximize traction and control with the help of GR Corolla's VSC. It reduces power to the wheels by automatically applying brake pressure to up to three wheels. Switch to Expert Mode to disable these features if you want more control of what you do behind the wheel.
