Welcome to the Garage. A place where passion is about more than what you drive—it’s also about what drives you. And it’s this dedication to the drive that has led to the creation of Toyota Gazoo Racing, where we believe the lessons learned from pushing vehicles to their limits on the racetrack help us develop production cars that allow the driver to experience the same visceral driving performance on the road.
Before he was the global president of Toyota Motor Company, master driver Akio Toyoda and the late master driver and Akio’s mentor, Hiromu Naruse, created Gazoo Racing to fuel their passion to make ever-better cars. Through their experiences at the Nürburgring, they and their crew worked together to overcome challenges, and this know-how cultivated at the track ultimately found its way back, helping Gazoo Racing forge better machines.
