In comparison, the Honda CR-V comes with a 1498cc (approximately 1.5-liter) in-line 4-cylinder with a turbocharger that generates 190 horsepower and 179 lb.-ft of torque.
  • The Toyota RAV4 comes with a Direct Shift-8-speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission with Intelligence (ECT-i) and Sequential Shift mode. On the other hand, the Honda CR-V has a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
  • All models of the Toyota RAV4 are available in Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) or All-Wheel Drive (AWD) except the Adventure and the TRD-Off Road trims which come standard with Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD, which is also available on the Limited grade.   • The Toyota RAV4 LE, the XLE, the XLE Premium, and the Adventure trims have an 8-in. touchscreen and six speakers as standard, while the Limited and the TRD-Off Road have a larger 10.5-in. screen. Additionally, the Limited trim includes an 11-speaker JBL® Premium Audio system with a subwoofer and amplifier as standard. This system is optional on the XLE Premium, the Adventure, and the TRD Off-Road trims. All the trims include wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility and a 3-month SiriusXM® trial.
  • The Honda CR-V LX has a 7-in. touchscreen with a 160-watt Audio System and four speakers. The CR-V EX comes with a 7-in. touchscreen, a 240-watt Audio System, and six speakers, while the EX-L offers a 9-in. touchscreen and a 320-watt Audio System with eight speakers.
  • Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging with a charge indicator light is available on the XLE Premium, the TRD Off-road, and the Limited trims of the Toyota RAV4. On the Honda CR-V, a Wireless Phone Charger (Qi-compatible) is available and standard exclusively on the EX-L trim.
  • The Toyota RAV4 LE base trim has one 12V/120W power outlet and three standard USB ports, while all other trims include one 12V/120W outlet in the front storage tray, one in the cargo area, and five USB ports. Additionally, the Adventure and the TRD-Off Road models have a 120V/100W AC outlet in the cargo area.   • All Toyota RAV4 models come standard with a remote keyless entry system that includes lock, unlock, panic functions, and remote illuminated entry. Furthermore, the RAV4 has a Smart Key System on all grades except the LE and the LE Hybrid, which includes Push Button Start with Smart Key access on the front doors and rear liftgate. On the XLE Premium, the TRD Off-Road, and the Limited grades, this system includes a standard power liftgate, while the Adventure grade has this feature as part of an optional package.   • A 1-year trial of Remote Connect is included with the Toyota RAV4, excluding the LE grade, though it is still capable of utilizing the great connected service with a subscription. This allows you to remotely interact with your vehicle through the Toyota app via your smartwatch. A subscription is required after the trial ends, and this feature is 4G network dependent. A comparable feature is not provided for the Honda CR-V.
  • The Toyota RAV4 comes with a 30-day/ 3GB trial of WiFi Connect. This includes AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot and a 1-month trial to Integrated Streaming (Apple Music® and Amazon Music) accounts. Separate subscriptions are required after trial and are 4G network dependent. The Honda CR-V does not provide a comparable service.

  • The Toyota RAV4 comes with a Restraint Warranty and a Powertrain Warranty for 60 months/60,000 miles. In comparison, the Honda CR-V has a 60-month/60,000 miles Powertrain Limited Warranty, though it doesn’t have a Restraint Warranty.
  • The Toyota RAV4 includes a Corrosion Perforation Warranty for 60 months/unlimited miles. Likewise, a Corrosion Limited Warranty is also included with the Honda CR-V for 60 months/unlimited miles.
  • The Toyota RAV4 comes with a trial of up to ten years of Safety Connect® with an Emergency Assistance Button, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, and Stolen Vehicle Locator.   • Both the Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CR-V have a seating capacity of five. The RAV4 has a 60/40 split reclining fold-flat rear seat with a center armrest and cup holders. Similarly, the Honda CR-V has reclining, fold-down 60/40 split rear seats and seating for five.
  • The Toyota RAV4 LE and the XLE come with fabric-trimmed seats. The XLE Premium provides SofTex®-trimmed seats with optional heated front seating while the Limited grade has standard Softex®-trimmed seats with heated and ventilated front seating. The Adventure grade comes standard with SofTex®-trimmed seats with unique orange accents and available heated front seats.
