Find out if your cellular phone is compatible with Entune.

If your phone is Bluetooth® compatible, you can make hands-free phone calls using voice recognition or simply by using the vehicle touch-screen. To see if your phone has Bluetooth®, please refer to your phone's Owner's Manual. To see if your smartphone is compatible with Entune, click here.


Pairing a Phone Using Bluetooth®

Pairing a Phone Using Bluetooth®

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

  1. Press MENU on the faceplate
  2. Touch Setup
  3. Touch Bluetooth®
  4. Touch Connect Phone
  5. Touch Add New
  6. From your phone, turn on Bluetooth® and select the vehicle system to pair (the vehicle system name will be displayed on the vehicle touch-screen display; e.g., CAR MULTIMEDIA, TOYOTA, etc.)
  7. You may need to confirm on your phone that you would like to pair your phone to the vehicle (the phone may show a confirmation prompt with a PIN or passcode that is also shown on the vehicle display touch-screen; this confirms you are pairing to the correct vehicle/system)
  8. Your phone will pair, you will be returned to the Connect Phone screen, and you will see your phone’s name on the vehicle touch-screen display. There will be a yellow light next to your phone’s name on the vehicle touch-screen display that indicates your phone has been successfully paired and is now ready to be used.

Bluetooth® directions vary between phones. If you do not know how to access your phone's Bluetooth® options, please refer to your phone's Owner's Manual for instructions.

  1. Phone must be paired. If it is not, go to Pairing a Phone Using Bluetooth®.
  2. Press the push-to-talk (use push-to-talk icon) button on the steering wheel
  3. Say: “Call” or “Dial” (number); e.g., “Call 212-555-1212”
  4. The system will repeat the phone number to confirm it is correct. If the phone number is correct, say “Dial” to make the call.

  1. Phone must be paired. If it is not, go to Pairing a Phone Using Bluetooth®.
  2. Press the push-to-talk (use push-to-talk icon) button on the steering wheel
  3. Say: “Call” or “Dial” (name); e.g., “Call David Smith”
  4. If there is more than one phone number for David Smith, a list of choices will appear on the touch-screen
  5. The voice prompt will ask you to select or say a selection to call

  1. Phone must be paired. If it is not, go to Pairing a Phone Using Bluetooth®.
  2. Press MENU on the faceplate
  3. Touch Phone
  4. Enter the phone number using the touch keyboard
  5. To delete a number, press the ← arrow
  6. Touch the green phone icon on the vehicle touch-screen display once the entire phone number is entered
  7. The call will be placed, and a "Connected" screen will be displayed
  8. To end the call, touch the red phone icon on the vehicle touch-screen display or press the phone hang-up button on the steering wheel

  1. Phone must be paired. If it is not, go to Pairing a Phone Using Bluetooth®.
  2. Press MENU on the faceplate
  3. Touch Phone
  4. Touch Contacts
  5. Touch the desired contact you would like to call and then touch the green phone icon on the vehicle touch-screen display to make the call
  6. If more than one phone number is available for that contact, select the phone number you would like to call and then touch the green phone icon to make the call
  7. The call will be placed, and a "Connected" screen will be displayed
  8. To end the call, touch the red phone icon on the vehicle touch-screen display or press the phone hang-up button on the steering wheel

  2. Press MENU on the faceplate
  3. Touch Phone
  4. Touch Call History
  5. Touch the recent call you would like to redial and then touch the green phone icon on the vehicle touch-screen display to make the call
  6. The call will be placed, and a "Connected" screen will be displayed
  7. To end the call, touch the red phone icon on the vehicle touch-screen display or press the phone hang-up button on the steering wheel

  1. Phone must be paired. If it is not, go to Pairing a Phone Using Bluetooth®.
  2. When a call is received, the vehicle touch-screen display will show the incoming call
  3. Touch the green phone icon on the vehicle touch-screen display to answer the call
  4. Or press the phone off-hook button on the steering wheel to answer the call

  1. To end a call, touch the red phone icon on the vehicle touch-screen display to end the call
  2. Or press the phone hang-up button on the steering wheel to end the call
