All Your Favorite Stations on AM/FM Radio

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

Radio mode has a mix preset function, which can store from any of the AM, FM or SiriusXM Radio (if equipped) bands.

  1. Turn on the audio unit by pressing the AUDIO button on the faceplate
  2. Touch the audio display screen at the bottom right-hand side of the display screen
  3. If the Select Audio Source screen appears, touch the radio band you prefer
    1. If the audio information screen appears, touch Source to go to the Select Audio Source screen and touch the radio band you prefer
  4. Touch Source to select another band

Tune the Radio and Set a Preset

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

  1. Manual tuning: Search for a desired radio station by going to the audio information screen. To do this, touch the audio display screen at the bottom right-hand side of the touch-screen.
  2. If the Select Audio Source screen appears, touch the radio band you prefer
    1. If the audio information screen appears, touch Source to go to the Select Audio Source screen and touch the radio band you prefer
  3. Use the < TUNE > buttons to manually tune to the next station
  4. Touch and hold one of the mix preset channels on the left side of the screen to set the station you are currently listening to as a preset. The screen button is highlighted, and the station frequency will appear on the preset channel after the beep.
  5. Touch Info to return to the audio information screen
  6. Touch SCAN, and the radio will seek for and tune to the next available station

Connect an iPod®

Connecting an iPod®  using the USB port enables users to enjoy music or other iPod® content via the vehicle's speakers.

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

  1. Open the cover of the USB/AUX port and connect an iPod®
  2. The actual position of the USB port may differ depending on the vehicle. For details, see the pictorial index of the vehicle's Owner's Manual.
  3. If the iPod® does to begin automatically playing, make sure audio is on by pressing the AUDIO on button on the faceplate
  4. Touch the audio display screen at the bottom right-hand side of the touch-screen
  5. If the Select Audio Source screen appears, touch the USB or the name of your device
    1. If the audio information screen appears, touch Source to go to the Select Audio Source screen and touch USB or the name of your device

Play an iPod®

The title of the album and song you are currently listening to will be displayed, as well as the album art if available.

  1. Touch || to pause the track
  2. Touch > to resume playing the track
  3. Press and release the >> or the << buttons to advance to the next track or go back to the previous track

Connect a USB Device

  1. Open the cover of the USB/AUX port and connect a USB memory device
  2. The actual position of the USB port may differ depending on the vehicle. For details, see the pictorial index of the vehicle's Owner's Manual.
  3. If the USB device does to begin automatically playing, make sure audio is on by pressing the AUDIO on button on the faceplate
  4. Touch the audio display screen at the bottom right-hand side of the touch-screen
  5. If the Select Audio Source screen appears, touch the USB or the name of your device
    1. If the audio information screen appears, touch Source to go to the Select Audio Source screen and touch USB or the name of your device

Switch to USB Mode

  1. Touch the audio display screen at the bottom right-hand side of the touch-screen
  2. If the Select Audio Source screen appears, touch USB on the screen (If USB has been named, such as “My Music,” that name may appear instead of USB on the display screen. Select that name to play it.)
    1. If the audio information screen appears, touch Source to go to the Select Audio Source screen and touch USB on the screen (If USB has been named, such as “My Music,” that name may appear instead of USB on the display screen. Select that name to play it.)

Play USB Memory Device

  1. Touch II to pause the song
  2. Touch > to resume playing the track
  3. Touch the >> or << buttons to advance to the next track or go back to the previous track

Connect an Auxiliary Device

  1. Open the cover of the USB/AUX port and connect an auxiliary cable
  2. Music will play automatically when connected (Note: Ensure the device connected is in Play Mode)
  3. Or, if music does not play automatically, touch the audio display screen at the bottom right-hand side of the touch-screen
  4. If the Select Audio Source screen appears, touch AUX on the screen
    1. If the audio information screen appears, touch Source to go to the Select Audio Source screen and touch AUX
  5. Only the volume can be adjusted using the audio system controls. The remaining controls need to be operated on the portable audio device.

Insert a Disc

  1. Insert a disc with the label side up
  2. When a disc is correctly inserted into the slot, the CD player will automatically start playing from the first track or the first file in the first folder on the disc

Eject a Disc

  • Press the eject icon or ∧ button on the faceplate. The disc will be ejected.

Switch to CD Mode

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

  1. Press the AUDIO button on the faceplate
  2. The audio system turns on in the last mode used
  3. Touch Source
  4. Touch CD on the screen
  5. If a CD-TEXT disc is inserted, the title of the track and disc currently being played will be displayed
  6. Touch || to pause the track
  7. Touch > to resume playing the track
  8. Press and release the ∧ SEEK/∨ TRACK button to move forward or back to the next song

iTunes® Tagging

With iTunes® Tagging, all you have to do when you hear a song you like on an HD Radio  station is tag it with just the press of a button and then purchase it later via iTunes®.

Sometimes you hear a song on the radio you'd like to remember so you can buy it later. Now, with iTunes® Tagging, when you hear a song you like on an HD Radio station, you can tag it with the press of a button and purchase it later via iTunes®.

How to Tag a Song (in AM/FM mode only while listening to an HD Radio station)

  1. In HD Radio mode, when you hear a song you want to tag, touch Tag on the screen
  2. Next time you connect your iPod® or iPhone®, via USB, the tagged song information will be transferred to your device
  3. If your iPod® or iPhone® device is already connected via USB, the songs will be tagged and transferred immediately
  4. When you sync your device with your iTunes® account, the tagged songs will appear in a special folder, allowing you to review your tagged songs and decide whether or not you want to purchase them
  5. Note: Tagged songs will be transferred to the first iPod® or iPhone® device connected to the vehicle. The audio unit does not store tagged songs. Once the tagged songs are downloaded, they are removed from the audio unit. Note: A max of 50 songs can be tagged at one time.

Listen to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio

SiriusXM® Satellite Radio delivers over 170 channels of sports, news, talk and commercial-free music, all in amazing digital sound.

To listen to a satellite radio broadcast in the vehicle, a subscription to SiriusXM® Satellite Radio is necessary. SiriusXM is a tuner designed exclusively to receive broadcasts provided under a separate subscription. Availability is limited to the 48 contiguous United States and some Canadian provinces.

  1. Turn on the audio unit by pressing the AUDIO on button on the faceplate
  2. Touch the audio display screen at the bottom right-hand side of the display screen
  3. If the Select Audio Source screen appears, touch XM
    1. If the audio information screen appears, touch Source to go to the Select Audio Source screen and touch XM

Selecting a channel from the list:

  1. Touch Channel List
  2. Touch the desired program genre
  3. Touch the desired channel and select “OK”

Touch Type > to go to the next category or < Type to go back to the previous category.

Preset a Station

  1. Search for a desired SiriusXM® Satellite Radio station by going to the audio information screen. To do this, touch the audio display screen at the bottom right-hand side of the touch-screen.
  2. If the Select Audio Source screen appears, touch XM
    1. If the audio information screen appears, touch Source to go to the Select Audio Source screen and touch XM
  3. Use the < TUNE > buttons to manually tune to the next station
  4. To set a preset, find a station you would like to save as a preset and then touch the Presets button
  5. Touch and hold one of the mix preset channels on the left side of the screen to set the station you are currently listening to as a preset. The screen button is highlighted, and the station frequency will appear on the preset channel after the beep.
  6. Touch Info to return to the audio information screen

AM/FM Cache Radio

Note: "Press" refers to a physical button on your phone or the multimedia system faceplate. "Touch" refers to a button, command or menu drawn on the display touch-screen.

Touch "AM" or "FM" on the "Select Audio Source" screen and then touch Info to see radio station detail.

Note: Cache radio only works for AM/FM stations and records the last 20 minutes of content of the station you are listening to. When a different station is selected and/or vehicle is turned off, the cache info is erased. Cache radio is always on and constantly recording.

Touch the  button on the right side of the screen to see the cache radio menu.

Select the desired cache radio operation button

  1. Touch II to pause radio
  2. Touch and hold << to rewind
  3. Touch and hold >> to fast-forward
  4. Touch |<<  to rewind two minutes
  5. Touch >>|  to fast-forward two minutes
  6. Touch Live to return to the live broadcast

What is Entune?

Entune encompasses the complete audio display stack of your vehicle—including Bluetooth®, voice recognition, USB, AUX port and your display screen. On select models equipped with premium audio head units, you have access to navigation and a rich set of apps and data services, now referred to as the Entune® App Suite.

Is SiriusXM® Satellite Radio part of Entune® App Suite?

SiriusXM® Satellite Radio is not part of Entune® App Suite. SiriusXM® Satellite Radio services require a valid SiriusXM® subscription and are sold separately by SiriusXM®. On select Toyota models, three months of complimentary SiriusXM All Access service are available.
